Description
So far this is the most complicated 3D model I have completed, but i think it was worth it.
So now i have made an actual ocean going warship ship instead of a Spaceship. That being said despite being a Naval Vessel limited to operating on Oceans rather than Space, this ships guns and missiles are capable of reaching into space and shooting down incoming space craft. Basically the OISU prefer's to mount Anti orbital weapons on mobile Naval platforms rather than placing them on fixed installations. And in this case a large Naval vessel has a couple of Advantages over fixed installations. One it is actually cheaper to build than a fixed installation since it can be constructed in centralized naval yards, rather than parts having to be shipped to ideal locations and assembled on site. Β The Second advantage, due to being mobile, well its not a fixed target, and because FTL Jump gates can be located on planetary surfaces and not just in space, it can make use of said Jumpgates to travel from one planet to the next, despite not being an actual spacecraft.
And yes this beast is quite the sizeable ship. A lot smaller than my Spacecraft, but it is still 483 meters long and displaces approximately 400,000 tons. But, despite being smaller than many spaceborne warships, this ship is actually got considerably more firepower on a ton for ton basis. For one, it doesn't need the long term provisions for a spacecraft, nor a spacecrafts high powered engines. As a result a much grater proportion of its tonnage can be devoted to weapon systems and shielding. The other, more important advantage is cooling. Spaceborne power plants have to be insanely efficient in their heat management and heat recycling to minimize the amount of waste heat generated as much as possible, this makes then quite bulky. Naval power plants on the other hand can afford to be a lot less efficient with waste heat, relying instead on simple water cooled power plants, allowing them to be much smaller in size, and a good bit cheaper. As a result, a Naval Ship like this can easily put out more firepower than a Space Warship over ten times its tonnage.

I would like to note that torpedos on battleships went out of fashion before WW2, due mostly to the fact that main guns greatly outraged them. This along with the problem that any torpedo that can realistically match or even come close to the main gun range of even WW2 battleships will have to use quite a powerful fuel or power source, which usually means one that is, shall we say, somewhat sensitive to impact and fire. The Japanese had quite a few problems with their pure oxygen fueled torpedoes, losing a few cruisers to hits that otherwise would not have troubled them. Those hits would set off the pure oxygen in the torpedos, which usually had quite the detrimental effect.
Ships of this size should not be getting close enough to torpedo another ship, and if they do, there are usually bigger problems to worry about than the fact that they may or may not have torpedos.

Also, considering the fact that supercavitating torpedos have replaced AShMβs in your world, it is quite likely that there is some form of active defense against such weapons, either anti torpedo torpedos or some form of underwater gun system.
Does the OISU use hunter killer subs?

Good point, especially about the threat of subs. Considering how devastating the relatively primitive heavyweight torpedos of our subs can be against big ships, something of this size should have at least some defense, though to be honest a better launching platform for ASW attacks probably would be drones deployed from the landing pad on the back, or failing that ASW torpedos carried to their targets on missiles, somewhat like the ASROC.
Though sub hunting should really be done by specialist ASW ships and aircraft.
I did consider supercavitating torpedos, but disregarded them due to the fact that the ones on our world might as well be straight running fish, due to the need for the fish to stay inside the supercavitating bubble, along with the fact that they are so loud that everyone in the general vicinity would know that one had been launched. But with the shielding tech of your universe, the fish would no longer need to rely on its shape to create the bubble.
