Description
Available as a print, please buy itHi all.
This is my latest work. It is a actual 3D object, a bit post-pro for better colours etc, but it is just one render, not two renders combined or so. It is modelled and rendered with Blender 2.41 and post-processed with Photoshop. It is based on the litho Up and Down by M.C. Escher. C&C is highly appreciated.

Wow, Escher would love it. With the colour, it's better than Escher's original I have to say.
And the fact that you kind of did it by programming (I don't really understand but yeah) adds a whole new level to the ingenuity of it cos you must've had 2 work out the principles behind Escher's drawing - I could never do that!

Thanks a lot tunnlette
Th origional was a litho (made with drawing on a stone and making a print of that) there for it can be in only one colour (in this case black) and you get the grainyness.

Wow, Escher would love it. I don't know why Escher always did everything in black and white, this one looks so much better in colour - it's an improvement on the original! Besides, to create it by programming adds a whole new level onto the ingenuity of it!

I'm very impressed, this kind of surrealism is hard enough to draw, let alone model.

Fantastisch knap gedaan Sander!! Ik heb nog maar pas Blender gedownload en bij het zien van de mogelijkheden raak ik nog meer gemotiveerd om zelf ook voorwerpen en scenes te creΓ«ren. Doe zo voort!!
Fantastic smashingly done Sander!! I've only recently downloaded Blender. Looking at what's possible only motivates me more to design and create my own objects and scenes. Keep up the good work!!

It is like escher, but it has a touch of something else. I like it when people put their own spin on something someone else did.
