Description
PART TWO: [link]This tutorial covers my basic flat technique, which is ideal for visual development, or any piece where you'll need to swap colors quick.
NOTE: I do not teach color theory, or how to draw, in this tutorial. This is just for the technique!
I have another tutorial planned for "Tiled Lighting', i.e. how I did this piece: [link] It should be up later today, so check back!

Awesome. This is EXACTLY what I was hoping to find. I'm trying to find a way to draw something without depending on line art. All I have is PS Elements right now (booooo), but maybe I'll get CS one of these days. (Lol, what am I saying? I'm still a student!)

I'm glad this helped! Back in my students days we had CS 3, but we all got the trial and...added...a patch....to make it last forever LOL.
For line art, you might want to try Illustrator. It's more forgiving & easier to correct your mistakes.

Haha - I may need to try that. I'll just work with what I got for now.
