Heeeeyyyyyy an update. i haven't forgotten about RG, i promises...grad school is kicking my lazy butt. i put off all my deadlines this weekend, locked myself away, and finally finished this off.
hopefully it's worth it!um, they're in the dorm cafeteria, just in case that's not clear...

Um, in the first couple strips I tried using opaque speech bubbles with the little tails and all, and it was just a huge pain in the ass, so I stopped. i'd been using just fuzzed out bg color instead, but that just looks really sloppy to me...i'm trying this out in hopes that it will be a happy medium.

don't worry, we'll hear more about matt's dad. i haven't quite figured out how exactly i want to script it but i've worked it in sort of. i feel like i don't show this very well but the strips are chronologically very close together, so matt's dinner date is not for another four or five episodes, i think.
