Description
Another small tip that I found many don't know about. Great for reloading materials to check quality on your OC's or even fixes to your materials path to see if they were set correctly. Can also use mat_reloadmaterial "materialpathhere" If you want a more direct reload that is easier on your system.

Very odd. It should just be a simple drag and drop of the files into the usermods folder if you're using the newest overhaul ponies. Make sure SFM is not running at the time for better results, or refresh content when selecting models. Make sure your "select models" menu is on all mods and not just TF.. Other than those tips I am not really sure what else it could be. If this is really a big problem then we could screenshare so I can see what the problem could possibly be. Your choice though.

I have had many people try to recruit me onto their teams for games, mods and more, but I kinda just like doing my own thing, so I turned them down. I doubt I would accept an animation job even if pixar came asking, mainly because I never liked having timed schedules to do something.. I also dont work well with others, lol.

personally, I use the modle viewer and F5.
but, since SFM is easier for most people to find in their menus, this should be very helpful to people

I should also note that if you are actually making full cosmetic changes to a model and just seeing how it looks, it's much more cpu efficient (and 10x faster) to use the Half-Life model viewer because it only needs to reload the model materials and not the materials of the entire map.

Just remembered that I forgot to add
mat_reloadmaterial "materialpathhere"
Since that commands allows you to direct the reload of what you want rather than everything in the world. So it's more CPU efficient.
