FXform is not a commun Xform
FXform is the icon just next to post transform (the green triangle)

once i got to comment cause i dont think i ever did this entirely lol, with the bipolar layer, i put in bipolar 2 remove 3dlinear and nothing rly much happens, and the scaling doesnt alter it

it's because you use the Xform and not the FXform
see the previous comment i've made for you

I really did! Though I was pretty confused when I couldn't find splits plugin in Aposhack Plugin Pack by =phoenixkeyblack . Had to use splits3D instead.

about the cylinder xform, i think u meant the ratio 1:3 is of down to shrink, or if its something else plz say, cause it kinda worked similar the way i said it

you resize the post transform to have a PT which have a Y axis (or X as you wish
) 3 times higher than the other one

I'm having problems with the instructions for xform 3.
How far 'up' do I move the post xform, and which do I resize with a 1:3 ratio?
Thanks for help.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
SaTaNiA In reply to LadyLyonnesse [2010-01-19 18:36:19 +0000 UTC]
We don't say how up do you need to go up to avoid copy paste fractal...
But you should play with it
The Xform don't need to be moved, you only need to move the Post Transform...
Move it up and resize it with a 1:3 ratio (Y=1 X=0.333)
and do the same with the xform 4 ^^

Search has not revealed where they are.

i'm sorry mate but the glynnia is not foundable now on dA as it's not a realease plugins ...
but for the log you could find it on the Aposhack plugin pack foundable here =Fractal-Resources

TW says it's on the SF site, so I'll go looking Here's a 1st try, a straight-up borders [link] :thumb150694266:
Defintely a very good style & the tut is clear & easy
- except on T3, where you say to
# move T3 PT up (how much?) &
# resize "them" = both T3 & T3 PT ?
But I muddled & experimented & came up with pretty much what you had, which is a 1st for me & tuts generally.
Definitely more to come - y've made my Sunday!

SaTaNiA In reply to zweeZwyy [2010-01-17 11:02:10 +0000 UTC]
It's normal ^^
We decide to write this to avoid copy paste fractal
the only thing you really need to do is to resize the PT with a 1:3 Ratio(X axis should be 3time smaller than the Y axis)
and only for the PT
And after you can move it freely as you like.

zweeZwyy In reply to SaTaNiA [2010-01-17 21:02:55 +0000 UTC]
Dont know this "copy paste fractal" thing
but fr the rest....as I am finding! as I freely move & mine the jewels - super fun, made about 10 beauties, but try this fr now Moonlight Scherzando [link] :thumb150770217:

SaTaNiA In reply to zweeZwyy [2010-01-19 18:51:19 +0000 UTC]
That's what we want
The aim for this tutorial is to make you learn how to make a kind of fractal
and you need to play with all values and PT so that's why we don't indicate how to resize and move the PT
It's a big part of this tutorial but the main shape is already done with the Xform 1 & 2
Thanks for all your deviations they all look great
