Artist's Notes: Just a drawing of the main cast of Dungeon Meshi gathered around a campfire for dinner. Dungeon Meshi is one of my favorite Japanese comics, second only to Berserk. Much like Goblin Slayer it reminds me of the old CRPGs I like to play, but here the characters and world are far more fleshed out and likeable. I also really enjoyed how the story escalated from a group of adventurers trying to conserve money by eating monsters to something akin to a "baby's first Berserk". For those unfamiliar with the characters, in the foreground from left to right they are; Chilchuck: a middle aged Halfling and the party's rogue, Laios; the warrior and monster enthusiast of the group, Senshi: Dwarf and cook, Marcille: the Elf mage, and Izutsumi: a catgirl, because Japan. As for the creature in the background, I guess you'll have to read the story yourself to find out! Spring usually puts me in the mood for RPGs so I wanted to draw this. I've also started playing one of the older Might & Magic games so there might be art inspired by that some time in the future.
