Scientists have no explanation for why this image exists.
Based on a dream I had in highschool and probably one of the coolest things I've drawn thus far. I really enjoyed this challenge as I love the asthetic of vintage dinosaur art although it did pain me a little bit to go against what the evidence suggests dinosaurs looked like, mostly for the maniraptor and sauropod like creatures. In my experience I've heard a bit of bitching from both sides of the "argument". Me, I don't like to take sides I just follow the facts after all paleontology is science not opinion. Still I can not deny the enthralling antediluvian charm that these lumbering reptilian behemoths hold and it was very fun to draw them and look back on the works of the fathers of paleoart for inspiration.
