Just coloured a little sketch I did a while back, documenting the efforts of a few friends and I to try and get the 'sob story' achievement on Left for Dead 2. The award is given when the survivors manage to 'navigate the Sugar Mill level without disturbing any witches'.Now, Left for Dead 1 players may remember that the witches are infected females who seek bloody vengeance on the survivor that accidently shot, nudged or set them on fire. There are only 1 or two of them per level in a campaign and they can usually be snuck past without too much trouble.
However, in L4D2, the witches are mobile. They walk around crying and bawwing, meaning that if you get trapped in a corner, they can bumble into survivors and tear them to shreds. Now imagine an old abandoned sugar mill with very tight ducks and dodges, and 5 witches per section... Moving in military style stealth formations is probably your best strategy, if you're the slightest bit competent. Unfortunately, Maxx, Kami, BFX and I - aren't. xD
Does get me thinking though ... why is the sugar mill full of witches? Perhaps they're attracted to sweet things? Instead of throwing molotov cocktails at them, perhaps we should be throwing sherbet.

Ah. The Sugar Mill. That level is the bain of my existence on campaign mode as I always ALWAYS seem to run into a witch in the long grass section before the Gas Station. I seriously think they took a massive wad of pages out of the Jurassic Park book of evil for that level.
Funny piece of art though, and nice use of effects on the background, particularly with the lighting.

That would be really bad if somehow the magazine drops onto a witch like that! best to bring a shotgun instead! You don't need a magazine, plus I've got the Sob Story already, so best to do some cr0wning! But, really, don't cr0wn on Expert, it's a pain in the @$$!!

Nifty stuff love. I still think it needs more of that yellow/rusty orange 'sheen' over the top to give the scene an overall colour tone, but that's just me.
I love this so much, I remember you guys playing that, it was well funny (because I wasn't the one getting my ass handed to her by a screaming zomboz).

The first time I played it, I can remember firing at zombies off in the distance with the sniper rifle thinking "Gee ... I hope my overzealous sniping doesn't set off a-" *distant scream, followed by witch crescendo* FFFFFFFFF...
