Finished, FINALLY. Started June last year.Mostly ebony pencil.
About 36 hours.

This piece was a winner in the McClean Fletcher βHealing of Heartsβ Art Competition. It was also displayed in a local coffee shop and at my high school in 2009 and 2010.

As usual, your work is far superior to mine. Good work. Much better than it was when it was halfway done when I saw it over break. I want you to finish your stippling one... that's cool too.
How close are you to having your portfolio put together?

I only have 1 more breadth (I could put in one that I've already done but I'd like to finish a painting I'm doing) and about 2 1/2 more concentrations.

Used to could... I haven't painted in more than a semester. You should see the aweful stuff that's going into my sketchbook right now.. It's like I'm back in the beginning of 11th grade... Miserable.

Practice does make better. And drawing from memory makes worse. The stuff I look at is so far superior to the stuff I make up.
