Description
Even though storms rage around us, wars are waged across the world, and crime is commonplace, we are still in His hands.Hands painted with oil paints-my first time painting with anything besides watercolor or tempera.
This piece won awards in the Scholastic competition and was eventually displayed in a gallery featuring artwork commemorating Hurricane Katrina (actually in New Orleans, I think).
It was also hung on display in a local coffee shop and at my high school in 2009 and 2010.

although I myself am not religious, I still find it to be a beautiful piece. Faith is what binds us together, and that is a powerful message. Good technique, awesome piece, and astounding inspiration.
