This photo makes my sister think of Calvin Klein...*shrugs* My first real oil painting. The main thing I like about this painting is that I finished it in a couple days; in other words, I did it really really fast. I really like how it came out for being my first full oil painting and for the little amount of time it took.Oh, and credit for the photo goes to my sister.

I like the way the face merges in with the background and the white t-shirt contrasts with it. Great expression too. Well done, great painting!!

well, alright. first oil eh? eep, i stay away from them as far as i can, takes too long to dry. anyway, the first thing i noticed about this was the hard lines in the left shoulder which makes it seem a bit 2-d. the shirt however is fantastic, very life like. overall, it's not my taste, but hell, i give credit where credit's due. good work.

Excellent first oil. Love the monochrome. Great work on the T-shirt; shading, etc. The face is a bit, er, spotchy, but looks fine. The eyes are perfect; great highlights. Good expression too. You look like a good person to know. I like to see happy people. Anyway, keep it up, you have talent with oil.
