Something went wrong in the previous "Making Calla Lily Video Tutorial", so I resubmit this revised video. It's 16 minutes video tutorial of making Calla Lily Flowers in Super Sculpey clay, It actually took much longer time making it.
(It's a HD video, you may set up the playing speed if you don't have much time viewing it!)
The video shown: how to make two different shapes of Calla Lily from the spadix, petals to the stems etc step by step. You may make it bigger or smaller using the same methods but according to the proportion and the detail in the right scale. You can use colored clay without painting or just use Super Sculpey and paint it with acrylic paints after baked.
Basically, I use some simple tools, mostly fingers. And mane brush is important for the texture. You need to sense the softness and thickness of clay and play with it a lot. Take a good look at you reference. It's important that you look and study its anatomy. Also how to make it naturally beautiful! After coloring, imagine someone you love who receives it...! Anyway, enjoy it! Hope you like it!
The flowers, look simple to make but only if you get into it. Please let me know if the video helps, so I may make some more in the future, I really appreciate your comment, thanks!

Wonderful! Sculpting flowers is the bane of my existence. I don't do it, even when I want flowers on my cats. This may help someday.

I seriously can't thank you enough for the videos you post! I'm personally not too good at learning with photos so your videos are an incredible help. It must take a lot of extra time to put together these tutorials and videos and i really want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for them, because i'm trying to get better with sculpting and it's difficult to find good professional work to look up to and learn from. Thank you so much!

Your messages meant a lot to me! I did spend extra time shooting the video while making the sculpture. Also the arrangements of texts. But I figured I should help any beginner for something easier to follow and understand, although I haven't received many messages in every tutorials, so your message get me going seriously. There are others in my Youtube that you may take look or share with your friends. Appreciate that!

That's such a great attitude (helping the beginners)! I'm very happy you do this. I also really enjoyed the video you made about hair because you started explaining how to practice on paper before going to the real sculpture, it's almost like a little art class. And you are a master with your craft so it is always good to watch you.

I've been making sculptures for twenty some years, some methods to me are naturally moving like driving a car. But I need to think of how the beginner may face the difficulty, especially the characteristics of clay. Practice more is the only way to do, and one day you'll find you can do almost anything with clay.

I didn't know you had a YouTube channel It's really interesting to watch you work. How long did it take you to get this good at handling clay?

I do have it long ago. I found using video is easier to understand the process. It took a few years that play with clay day and night... Get to know the clay better only if you keep trying.

It is easy as long as you tried it.
The only method is to get to know the clay better.
