Description
Day 5 of 10 days of desserts to celebrate the upcoming holiday season! Today's dessert is an assortment of creampuffs and small pastries during tea time aboard the ms Eurodam. Since tea time is such an old and classic tradition in many countries, I thought making it black and white would suit the event.
The waiters were really patient and let me take a lot of pictures of their dessert trays they were carrying around. It was great just seeing hundreds of little cakes and mini appetizers parading about. That said, since we got to tea time a bit late, this was probably the only tray I got to that wasn't already half eaten haha!Β Day 1: Cannoli Siciliani

Thanks! I have to admit though, I actually used the black and white effect to sort of hide the fact that the lighting was very poor here haha! In color, this photo ends up looking very muddy and overly orange, but in black and white, suddenly it's got a lovely classic look to it! XD

Tea time is always delightfully relaxing! I especially like seeing the wide assortment of teas and pastries available, plus a bonus that oftentimes tearooms have nicely decorated teapots and teacups.

Mango is a great choice! I have a whole box of mango white tea that I really enjoy. Of course it is also a fantastic flavor in other things too, can't get enough of mango ice cream and cake!

While I haven't gotten to the other pieces yet, I shall go to this! Since it's the newest and perhaps I can say first! Can I say that? Please? Anywho, nice again that you were able to travel back in time in Europe when color had not yet been invented but delicious desserts had. Was this tray good? Too sweet? The textures at least look really nice even though I'm afraid I may explode in diabetic glowee!

Aye aye! And what a lovely time traveling trip it was! It was a little strange at first to walk around with no color, but the monochrome effect really lets you admire all the flowing lineart with varied lineweights! How the eyes dance around! O ho ho ho!
And the tray was most fibrous. I pushed all the pastries aside, since as ye know I don't really eat sweets ever, and chomped down on the glorious, metal tray to get all that iron! Mine mine mine! I shan't be anemic! All this tray are belong to me in all da glowee! But I can share a handle. Would you like a handle? Of course you would!Β
