Awesome then! Or it would be cool if instead of the window of the start menu, you would have the icons and what-not, but with the background behind the space that they take up blurred out or something so you could still focus on the objects that would be in the window? I know it's not practical, but it would be pretty damn cool you know?

Well not really, I mean like, have the regular start menu, but, none of the window itself visible save for the different options to open different windows and such, but with the area that the start menu would normally take up just blurred out instead, like with the aero glass and how it blurs things out behind it.
