Apparently glowing effects are a mystery to a lot of people,but they're so easy! So here you go!
Apologies for the lame layout, I didn't want to use any more complex backgrounds to bring out the effects to their fullest.
Also apologies for typo's

I never use any other program but SAI, so I can't tell you how to do glow effects in PS, Gimp, etc...
(and I don't want to know either)

This is awesome!
Another note about making glow effect look more glowy is to not to over-saturate a picture's colour, and so when one does put in the glow effect as you instructed (I really like that last one you show there) it looks even more impressively glow-like because it might be more saturated than the rest of the picture.
