... I regret to inform you that you have compelled me to create a character in Star Trek Online of this species.
It's all your fault. How dare you.

Fixing the character with melee skills and weapons is... interesting and difficult when you aren't playing a Klingon character.
But I did it.

One thing you should know about Tkarites is that they prefer blades.
They are the 'People of the Blade'
Also of note, they prefer to use two blades at once when fighting.
One in each hand.
It doesn't matter what type of blades used as long as it is two.

Also many Tkarites over the years have left the Freehold to seek their fortunes elsewhere.
A few wish to escape the intrigues and power-plays of the Freehold while others seek better opportunities
to gain power and influence.
Many Offworld Tkarites excel in business, some as guards and enforcers. Some as spies, mercenaries and assassins.
And others as adventureors.
Those who leave must follow five strict rules:
Do not break the First Law of the Flesh.
Do not break your word.
Do not involve yourself in any way with slavery or conduct business with those who do.
Do nothing that will disgrace your House.
Do nothing that will harm the interests of the Freehold.
An Offworld Tkarite who breaks these rules will be branded a criminal and hunted down.

Alas, the game only allows me one blade.
But it's still a sword. Maybe she's just the oddball.
The character, by the way, is named Aliru K'nali.
Haven't entirely fleshed her out yet, but here's what I do have:
She's a Tactical Officer by training, and has been noted throughout her career for her unconventional tactics, using probes and sensor decoys to confuse her opponents while she outmaneuvers them using small, fast ships - like fighters, frigates or destroyers.
She does have one outstanding reprimand in her file - when coming to the aid of a civilian freighter under attack by an Orion slaver, she destroyed the slaver without calling on them to surrender or withdraw - which violated her standing Rules of Engagement.

Sounds interesting!
What's her rank and ship?
Also I'm curious have you decided which part of the Tkarite Freehold she's originally from?
Is she from the Tkarite System
www.deviantart.com/seekhim/art…
Or does she hail from the Vornel System?
www.deviantart.com/seekhim/art…
And what about her family, House K'nali?
Is it Noble/Aristocracy, Upper class or Middle Class or lower?
Is it a Farming House, a Labor House, Craft House, Warrior House, Merchant House etc?

K'nali is a Middle Class Merchant house. Her family is much involved in the carrying trade between the Tkarite System and Vornel - so she spent a great deal of time aboard transport ships growing up. Which led to her first encounter with a Federation Starship - the USS Arcadia. After spending so much time around cargo carriers, seeing a Galaxy-class ship was quite the eye opener for a preteen who already enjoyed space travel. The notion of boldly going where no one had gone before started as a mere flight of fancy, but eventually turned into a full-blown ambition of hers.
She attended Starfleet Academy from 2397 to 2401, graduating as a Tactical and Helm Control officer.
Currently she's assigned to the USS Pendragon, a Lafayette-class destroyer.

I see you've really done your homework!
I love to see background details!
Hope I get to see a picture of K'nali someday!
In case you didn't see it earlier these are pics of Tkarite ships and some of the vessels
K'nali would have seen growing up
www.deviantart.com/seekhim/gal…
Also what was the USS Arcadia doing in the Tkarite system at the time?

I'd tell you more about Aliru and her ship, but I don't want to spam your comments more than I already have.

She never did find out what the Arcadia was up to. She was a bit busy asking all the nice Starfleet people all the things about their Starship.
As for pics, I can provide a screenshot - unfortunately I don't have a scanner or tablet to work with anymore.

They look cool! I love their outfits and expressions, and I totally agree that Tkarites rescuing folks from the Orions would be a killer
story!

Okay, so here it goes:
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEEEASE write a story about the Tkarites dealing with the Orion slave ships. I'd kinda like if it were, at worst, PG 14. Allude to the vile things the Orions do, but without going into the whole nitty-gritty of it. Bonus = Kirk is involved somehow because one of his OLD crew has been captured by the Orions. I vote Chekov. Come on, it'd give Kirk the chance to be sad because now Chekov knows personally how it feels to raped, etc.

I’m sorry there space drow, it also seems like Loliths children overthrew her and the cult of the silver mask took power. Most likely then they exterminated the mind flayiers and made peace with the surface.

This Is Beautiful!!! I love wolfanita artwork of the Tkarites Merchant Couple; Tkarites are truly a beautiful species and in many ways remind me of elves.

How'd you like to visit their world?
I'd want a tour of their cities. Tkarite city states fiercely compete who
can make their city more beautiful and even the poorest areas are lovely.
No slums on Tkara.
I'd also want to go to one of their sword fighting exhibitions or to one
of their parties and galas. Its fun but don't let your guard down!

I really would love to visit there world; I would love to visit the Hall of Judgment but as a tourist to see the architecture. In addition I would love to see the Tkarite Bath Houses and Hotels. I do have question I realize Romulans were biological cousins of Vulcans; the fact that Tkarites are the only other species on Star Trek with pointed ears aside from Rigelians , Remans ,Halanans , Sargon's species and the proto-Vulcan humanoid race the Mintakans . It would be interesting if the Tkarites were related to Elven race, or for the Star Trek series renamed the Quendi .

As far as elves are concerned I think the Tkarites would be more closely related
to the Drow. But then Drow were originally Elves.
