Description Well, you all can read, and I think i've ranted enough in making this anyway. Anyway, I'm braindead right now so if it's weird and messy, well, tough. It's my tutorial, and I'll make it as messy as I like

Don't let the preview picture fool you, this tut is on basic crappy CGing and not about painting sceneries on computer monitors or dealing with Attention Deficit Disorder.

If you want to read the tut, stare at the preview image for several minutes, and yell out "I AM THE GREAT HABOOB!!!"
Or just click on that picture. Right on the catgirl. Or anywhere. As long as its on the picture.

Software used: Photochop CS

zomg +fav.

I hate using PS's default grass. >_>

Serio555 In reply to linawe [2006-08-06 14:16:05 +0000 UTC]

I think the problem with the default brush is there's only 1 or 3 blades of grass in it., so it lacks variety

wonderful effects, but im too lazy to try to perfect with a mouse, so i might not even hope of trying, but still. A good tutorial; easy to follow, and um..yeah.

I'm only quirky on some days, most of the time I'm normal ....... I think.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Mikit-Yorinao In reply to Serio555 [2006-08-08 04:23:58 +0000 UTC]

There is something called normal? I have heard of this, but I'm not sure that I've ever encountered it.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Serio555 In reply to Mikit-Yorinao [2006-08-08 07:40:34 +0000 UTC]

In old chemistry (and some present-day engineering): "1 normal is defined as the concentration required to neutralise 1 M of H+ or OH- ions"

Yep, there's a thing called "normal" I'm not sure how many normals I am, though.

Mikit-Yorinao In reply to Serio555 [2006-08-08 18:19:17 +0000 UTC]

Wow . . . I've never heard of that. It must have been a more advanced chemistry than I took.

Serio555 In reply to Towcb [2006-08-06 05:49:18 +0000 UTC]

Go to Wacom's site [link]

They're the main brand of graphic tablets. its basically a pad where you use a pen instead of a mouse.

👍: 0 ⏩: 0

Mikit-Yorinao In reply to Towcb [2006-08-06 02:56:27 +0000 UTC]

A handy little tool that comes with a tablet pen which makes drawing in photoshop or any other artistic software sooooo much easier. It's like drawing with freehand, except what you draw appears on the screen instead of on a piece of paper. The one I have is a Wacom, but there may be other brands of tablets.

Towcb In reply to Mikit-Yorinao [2006-08-06 03:10:12 +0000 UTC]

I'm looking around in amazon for one now, but the ones I found are either for MAC or doesn't tell me the system requirements. -_-

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Mikit-Yorinao In reply to Towcb [2006-08-06 03:24:49 +0000 UTC]

That's weird, usually most stuff is compatable with PC's, I'm pretty sure . . . but then, my tablet was a gift and I have a Mac so I don't have any experience in buying tablets for PC's.

Serio555 In reply to gunshotXheaven [2006-08-06 05:47:20 +0000 UTC]

I use the bottom of the line A5 Wacom Graphire, which was relatively cheap (AUS $ 300). It doesn't have the same features as the Wacom Intuos, but it does the job well enough. I know people wh have bought generic tablets for like AUS $100, but they never draw on it so I don't know how good it is.

I think I'd rather buy a big tablet and 2 monitors though, so I can have all the palettes on one side

But I think I'll have to sell a kidney for that..... hmm........
