The Internet has Returned!!! 
This is sooo overdue! It has been completed since August, and despite my initial intention to upload it shortly after my application sheet to TC-
A slew of things, including the loss of my home internet, and the abrupt 'closure' of TC have kept me from it.
But here it finally is, my first EVER completed reference sheet for one of my MANY characters.
Do bear in mind this reference sheet was set up with the intention of Roleplaying in TC. So some of the info provided is only relevant in that respect (such as his fighting prowess).
^_^ I am all sorts of happy over this so I don't really have a whole lot more to say.
Please feel free to spam me with questions, and shower me with fanarts if you fee so inclined. *laughter*

Yaaa I kinda feel the same way.
I originally found our first RP rather comical, but I got a liiiitle uncomfortable with all the 'why are you naked in his bed' references.

Even though I can see influences, you've definitely got your own art style that's the best of everything with more. (I can see Escaflowne and Avatar:TLA in there.
I adore the layout and colors of the sheet as well. It's very appealing aesthetically and easy to follow.
In love with: his silhouette, the bottom three panels on the right, hie eyes, his wrapped feet, and the back of his belt. XD
One of the things I would suggest though would be to soften up the tips of the lines that are fading into something. Like his hair wings. It'll give it a softer appearance.

I have wanted to submit this for ages, but the time just wasn't quite right.

I'm happy to hear a piece of my Esca-roots are still visible in my work. I am especially happy to note that it is not their outrageous noses Hahaha! Ashley maintains that your work still feels quite FMA, which is a beautiful starting-point as well.
I am also glad to hear the layout is friendly, I had alot of needless stress over that.
Thank you for the suggestion regarding his hair/wings. I will certainly work on that with the next human I draw.

Yes, I'm glad that it isn't their noses I see either. XDXD But I do see Esca most prominent in the side view.
Hmmm, I find that interesting because I haven't really watched or read anything FMA since I finished Brotherhood a while ago.
Ah. Layout is time consuming and a lot of trial and error for me.

Hehehe the side view was actually taken directly from a photo-reference I shot of myself leaning sideways ^^
And ya, I haven't watched or read anything Esca or Avatar in a looong while. But I suppose these origins never quite leave you?

I could go off about A Monster in Paris for hours!
But Alas I shall refrain.
AMIP is a full length film by Europa films set in Paris in the late 1800's.
It was officially released in France Oct. 12, and although the American voice actors have been cast, I do not know a scheduled release date.
I have a definite obsession with monsters, so my interest in this film quickly got out of hand.
Anyway~
This is the first video I saw for the film [link] and I found the music to be hauntingly beautiful.

Just a head up tho-some of the fanart is a tad...Creepy?

And as far as 'lacking the skill to join TC' I think you have a magnificent start with your work, and I hope that you never give up, or loose sight of all the improvements you make with each new piece.
I would highly recommend keeping a sketch book, and drawing from real life whenever possible. You will notice things, little things, that add character and life to youer artwork as you do.

I plan to do animation as a career someday, and I think I'm very good at drawing cartoons now, it's realism I fail at honestly.
I think I'll try getting some art books and some sketch books for realism practice. (Although everytime I get sketchpads I can't resist smothering the pages with cartoons...)

Oh! What kinda books are you getting? I can recommend some good ones in regard to realism if you want to work on anatomy.

Anatomy, both human and animal. I also need work on proportion, drawing objects and scenery.
I also need some help on shading, like finding a light source and not looking flat.
That's where I need help. Thanks for agreeing on crits, just keep in mind that I only want critiques if the picture says I've requested them. Not trying to be mean or anything, just saying.
