Description A set of Gauss Pistols for a PMT/Sci-Fi RP involving a set of Power Armor Equipped Twins known as Gamma and Gammu. Commission #10 (?), was fun but mostly just good coloring practice.

Since I know I'll be asked this: The rear 'slide' is actually a removable section containing the loading solenoid, and once removed allows access to the rear breach of the weapon to ease cleaning and other mateneince without having to break the things to pieces when you shouldn't have to. The 'switch' directly below it locks the breach unit in place and can only be lowered when the weapon is set to Safe.

epic. in the story i write, the weapons are all coilguns, except for shotguns, antiques, and gunpowder assist magnums

Other than the large frame I don't really see anything that reminds me of Desert Eagle pistols. Interesting idea, I was just reading about Gauss guns and rail guns about an hour ago.

I like the sleek, polished look they have, like something you'd expect the AD2045 equivalent of "Tequila" Yuen to pull out of his coat.

I had to stare at the picture for a full minute before it finally dawned on me why everyone is under the impression it's based on the Desert Eagle; it's the solenoid bay - it sort of vaguely kind of resembles the slide on a Desert Eagle. Really, I see more resemblance to the modified Beretta 92s used in the film "Equilibrium."

I's say equilibrium too- It has the reflex muzzle of the mod berretas, though it has that little attatchment thing on the underside of the fore-end that can be founf on the deagle. Neh, a fine pair'o guns- I made a solenoid gun once. Twas hyowge! had to screw it onto my desk... Lookin forward to 2045 when I can get me a pair!

I find it funny everyone keeps referencing the Desert Eagle when I didn't even use it as a reference. The Beretta 89 (primary), OTS-33, Springfield XD, Glock 18, and a Dan Wesson Match revolver were all the references used in the pic.
