an Automatic revolver in the style of a gas operated variation on the webley-fosbery revolver... its voer the top, fragil, but has its own style I think...Related content

One question: if it is side loaded (i'm assuming it by the fact I see no joint and it has a depression on the bullet's rear quard... which I dunno the name) and it is automatic... how do you reload it? I mean, by being loaded by a gap on it's side, the cylinder needs to rotates freely, something impossible for an auto-revolver of that type, since the ball and brass ring will drive it impossible to break open, either rotates while not firing...

Isn't the auto revolver like Vash's revolver? with the barrel under the dorsel?

Dude that's awesome in the tenth degree! does it have the reliability of the revolver mixed with the accuracy and speed of an auto?

The Webley-Fosbery is one of my personal favorites and this variation pretty much kicks ass!!

There's a gun looking similiar to that one in battlefield 2142.

Your concept works my dear, and i have technical drawings that prove it; the only problem is that your thinking too much about the actuation of the pin and not enough about wether or not you need a pin. Plus if you wanted it practical, the cylinder'll have to be either covered or (preferably) sealed. I'll put my version on later, mayhap, if you wanna see it. I have to say it looks purdy tho. Nice one.

Rather far down the barrel (essentially an inch or so before the muzzle) a gass tap diverts gas vertically where tis stopped by two wedges. One wegde is fixed, and the other is attached to a spring driven actuating rod that connects to the overhead section ('slide' that drives the bras ring and its stud.) by a ball joint that allows for the slide and chambers to tip upwards... for trying to needlessly convert an already simple mechanism into a more complex gas actuated reason for little more than aestetics its relatively simple.
No.. no it isnt, its needlessly complex, frail, and other derougetory mechanical phrazes that mean un-efficent, but it wasnt designed to be efficent, simply to look good, as much as I hate to say I never get the time to sit down and actually draw out my designs in full detail (internal and external) or Id probably havea patent by now.
But thats Work and a family...
