Sadly I'm not really good at coloring, look at My Combat knife deviation for example.

Meh, dont sell yourself short. The knife isnt bad. Ive only been doing this for a couple years, and I hated coloring in the begining. Do it long enough and you begin to develop your own system, then it gets enjoyable. We all start somewhere. Your line art is great. Just keep experimenting and you'll find something that works for you.

My apologies my attempt was not to insult myself, more so I actually started out in rendering (shading [Burn & Dodge] and coloring of raw shapes) before I ever learned line art, line art allowed me to be much more technical with my work and over all really changed the way I draw, for the better I think.
My statement was more so that Ive had a hard time integrating the two styles to a practical point, though I do believe I'm getting better I have quite the long way to go.

Gotcha. I could say the same really. I always find room for improvement myself too. Its half the fun I guess. My love has always been technical drawing and line art. The coloring I do now is the most artistic I have ever been and I am always trying to find ways to improve.

Reminds me of the GA2A or whatever in F.E.A.R. Nice work, mate.

I don't know what FEAR called it, but the gun they had was basically an HK SL8 carbine (full auto wtf??) with a Beta-C mag.

It had an SL8-type rail.
I dunno, the SL8 doesn't impress me. Half the capacity of an AR or anything else, impossible to find mags, made of plastic...

see thats why my dream rifle wouldnt be an sl8, it would be a g36e with an sl8 stock
long mags ftw

I think the trigger guard could be bigger. And what is that block over the magazine with what looks like a crosshair on it?

That would be a dust cover for the ejection port.

The gas tube looks a little exposed, and if the bipod was mounted on the rail at the bottom I believe it would be more helpful.
The caliber looks to small to make it an anti-matrerial rifle.
But overall it looks it be an awesome design.
