We work 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri. A bit of overtime, but rarely any "undertime". With construction, we have to work where and when the weather is right to work on the projects. So, we usually hit it hard to get the shell houses up, and then there's work under shelter when the weather is bad. We have three houses going on now. One is almost ready for trim, one is ready for siding, one is ready for plumbing and electric. What's the worst, is when the weather is decent, but cool and windy. No excuse to not work outside. Not like rain and snow. We take off two weeks a year. One in mid-July, and this one. Paid... But we don't really get any other days off. Thanksgiving day, that kind of thing.
This would probably be your busy season! Spring into the heat of summer is ours.

Yeah, it is supposed to be our busy time ... but it's just not that busy -- I work 5am to 12noon - no lunch (my choice) and I work Mon-Fri --- everyother Sat I work from 6am to usually 8am although yesterday it was 8:45am as I do the load out for the Saturday HOR (which is Home Delivery for Home Depot) I don't actually move any Appliance on Saturday - just verify what the Driver teams put on their trucks...

That schedule would give you a decent amount of time with your family. 5am means you're pretty early to bed, eh?

Me too, usually. But when it's been a hard day, sometimes I don't even make it to eight!

I messed up the 'order of things' - so had to start over - I will still be done with the 2nd Blender tutorial later today.

Let me know if this tells everything - or if I need to fill in some more information at a particular step...

A rendering tutorial would be great (Only if you have the time)

SiathLinux In reply to xentek [2007-12-03 18:12:23 +0000 UTC]
I could do that next - as there are a couple of different settings that have very different effects on the rendering process... I'll combine that with the surface shader/mirror/transparency as those are affected by the differences in the render options - and showing how they can be used to benefit each other
