Just a little preview of an upcoming page.I'm still not sure what possessed me to think that drawing a black creature hanging upside down in front of a bright light in the middle of the night was a good idea. The shading (and upside-downness) on this guy has given me nothing but headaches since this scene started, lol.
Anyway. Making (very, very slow) headway on pages.

I love your monsters. They somehow manage to be big, spiky, imposing, and threatening - but not physically menacing. I'm not worried that Mr. Upside Down Bat Thing will eat any of the main characters... yet I'm pretty sure their lives would be better, happier, and possibly longer if they never met him.
I think it's the smile. Nothing good can come from anyone who smiles with that many teeth.

Headache, I'd have one too if I decided to color something that's upside down (there's sooo much the psyche takes for given when it comes to shadows and highlights).
