I can't believe this doesn't have more comments! It's a beautiful piece and I love how 3D it looks. The shading and details on the scars are all amazing. ^__^

Poor sweet bean has been through a lot.

This paintng turned out beautifully, I feel like your painting style has developed a lot and you're able to create your pieces with simpler shapes and brushstrokes. First glance at the piece suggests a lot of intricate details, but when I get up close and zoom in I can see the simple brushstrokes that were used to create the illusion of details and I feel that right there is the sign of a skilled painter. 

I mentioned the hand before, it still feels out of place to me; Not bad or incorrect, but it just doesn't seem necessary. The hand gripping his shoulder is a bit awkwardly cut off and doesn't really read as his own. Considering the simplicity of the piece with the colours, and backgrounds, as well as the mood you are trying to convey, I don't feel the hand was needed. 

I know the feelings that went into this piece weren't the best ones but I think you did a great job with this piece and feel that your struggles as a person and an artist have made you into a stronger and better person all around. You're doing good and I'm proud of you, keep going.
