So here it is, finally! I was getting tired of the super old ref Vreyin had and decided to update her. I love revamps ~
In case anyone was wondering, 99% of the text is in past tense on purpose because it's indicating she's long dead. Like all of the other avians.
Oh, and you can see a preview of the new Shrike!
I don't have much to say at the moment, so I'd just like to say a special thanks to =kilara , ~Foxchibi , and =Humingbird for their help and support. C:
Also, this species belongs to =kilara and are not an 'open species', so please refrain from making one for your own as it is disrespectful to do so without her permission. She has quite a few awesome open species though! Here's a nice little list: [link]

This one took a while! I don't really pay attention to my times, but this was over the course of a few days because I shaded it (not full 24 hour work, mind you. Just a few hours every day and such xD). Thanks btw C:

It literally blows my mind how you improve and improve each time with your ref sheets, and they were epic to start with! This is by far one of the best you've done, and Vreyin has been my favorite character of yours. You do her great justice and so much more. I have and always will admire your drawing and designing skills, how you draw such fluid anatomy and visually appealing as well as kick ass detailed scales I will never know, and I'll never cease examining them in awe. You did a great job here, I had to add Vreyin to my very favorite favorites!

And you've revamped her design beautifully! You've streamlined her well and added simple yet stunning traits to her. Especially her wings and "hanging" pinions. I enjoyed reading all of her info as well.

I love the revamp you've done on Vreyin.<333 I like the mix of soft gradients and colours with harder edges. She has lovely markings and I like the colours you used for her as well. The amount of detail you put in to your work always amazes me. The ref sheet was an interesting read to. I liked reading about her history. I have an urge to sit down sit down and attempt to come make refs for some of my own chars now. I've been wanting to work on flytt character to. XD Your work is truly inspiring.
I think some other people have already mentioned this but it would be nice to see her human form up a bit closer to. Oh and I almost forgot to mention I like the little size comparison chart you have in the top right corner. Anyway I'll stop yaking now. XD I look forward to seeing more of your work. *Continues to stare at beautiful ref sheet some more.*

This is such a detailed reference sheet!! It just... it blows my mind. Footprints, feather details, descriptive history.... How long did this take?
I need to make reference sheets of my own characters, and perhaps I could refer to this for reference. The layout is easy to follow, and it looks great both from afar and up close.
