Description
Ok, this is a compilation on some notes I have taken over the past 5 years or so. This is a tiny snippit of that information. I have reams and reams of information to go through and organize. I want to publish a book on my ideas.no one has ever publish an anatomy book based primarily on women. Sure there have been "how to draw Comic Females" and "how to draw Anime Females" But never a "How to draw female anatomy" book.
So tell me if you think these patterns are useful. Let me know if the help you draw females better.

I really struggle drawing the female torso - especially the pelvis area - and yet by following this guide I suddenly find it substancially easier! Thank you very much.

omg thank you so much,
Ive bin struggling so much with female anatomy, simply because im a guy and just don't know. i can do male anatomy fairly OK in terms of i know whats where but i always go wrong with the ladies.
funny thing is that i take life drawing lessons and the only model we get is the same guy over and over again.
i praise and thank you so much for this. it will definitely help.

I REALLY have to know...what will the M shape and the Heart shape help me out with? Like will remembering the M shape help me draw a better neck? Or will remembering the heart shape make the butt look more realistic?

Snigom In reply to Akiharo [2009-04-13 04:45:33 +0000 UTC]
The 'M' shape helps you remember the muscle structure of the neck. The heart shape defines a generalized way to see the tailbone of the pelvis with muscle and skin/fat on it.

I faved a few of your tutorials so far, and all of them look incredibly helpful! Especially breaking down the human body into basic shapes. Such a simple concept yet it's one I always forget! lol
Awesome job with these, they're very easy to understand and the visuals are great.

Thanks for this one man! It'll help me in aiding my drawings and hopefully improving them. Right now I don't think I have any females posted in my gallery...but that's because I suck at drawing them, lol.

Great, I' buy that book up the second it came out. it also helped a lot with my drawing, I might put some up using this. though I only have one pic to compare to. I'd probably buy it mostly for the boobies.

What boobies? Oh yeah, those rock-hard muscular breasts stuck onto an emaciated ribcage. My mistake!
