That's a PowerMac G5 processor card assembly, Liquid cooled by the looks of it, dual 2.5Ghz(3rd gen) up to quad 2.7GHz(4th gen) of raw PPC power. The MacPro uses the LGA771 and the LGA 1366 intel Xeon CPUs, all three have a place on my poster. Thank you for the comment!

Is there any way you could License this so I could remix it with illustrations instead of photos of the ports? or imo you should crop out all the extra board, this should lessen the cost to buy the poster.

I uploaded 1.7c and adjusted the license. To be frank I'm not to into the "nuts and bolts" of copyright. I just don't want to see my exact poster with someone else's name on it.
Thank you for the post!

I had a new macpro pass through my office the other day, naturally I tore it to pieces, (and put it back together again obviously... yes it still worked! ) I updated the LGA 1366 image.
Thank you for the comment!

more informative than 'art' per se. But I enjoyed this. Def the design/layout is an art in and of itself.
Cool!

That one was too long to fit.... you can see the PCI like portion of the slot 4th from the bottom.

I'm aware of that connection, It is primarily used by Dell no? at least I know they use a flavor of it in some laptops. Thank you for the comment!

ADB and S-video are the same port (back in the day ADB cables were ricockulously expensive, and you could buy relatively cheap S-video cables to use instead), though I'm not sure whether you want to put the two under the same heading.

I remember that trick! I'm thinking of replacing my current s-video port image with "s-video in" (7 pins), just to differentiate. Thank you for the comment!

I should say, the physical port and cabling was the same, but like the different RCA plugs the function was not the same.

In the description for Socket S1 you wrote "Truion". I think you mean "Turion".

I'm a photographer, I'll see if I can get you some pics of the ports in my PC. I have a 12 megapixel DSLR, with a 200 mm lens, (1:3.5 reproduction ratio), is that high resolution enough?

Thank you for the heads up on digg! Yes, that is definitely Hi-Res enough! I've been using a little 8MPix camera for this project.

You're welcome. I'm afraid I don't know how the missing parts look, but I'll check around the house and shack for old parts
Maybe it's a cool idea to also add cables/connectors (since you already have the ports)
