There are two types of things in the worlds : the things that go aay, and those which stay. I guess my fanatism toward Evangelion goes in this second category. I've over-loved this series for more than 5 years, but I had yet to do a "proper fanart" of it. It's now done. Yay !. This drawing was of course inspired by the viewing for the nth time of the End of Evangelion, but also from the doujinshi "Re-Take" that I bought at the Comicket last week and which is pretty cool ! (it's the complete rewriting of the end of the series, and it's well done !)(for the eva fanatics here : I know the Eva Series 5 are not supposed to have their wings anymore in that final scene, but I just needed wings for the compo so I was a bit sacrilegious...XD)

This picture is very disturbing, but I love it.
Even though I only became an Evangelion fanatic last year, it feels like I've known the characters forever. I've changed quite a bit since I've watched this series. I hold it very close to my heart.

Aah, Evangelion. J'ai découvert quand c'est passé sur canal en 1998, c'est aussi ce qui m'a fait découvrir l'animation japonaise.
Fanart qui tape tout cas. N'empêche, moi je miserais pas sur un gars qui essaye de m'étrangler avant de se décider... Mais bon, elle fait ce qu'elle veut.

moi aussi, c'était mon premier anime. Un pote m'avait prété les cassettes enregistrées sur canal. Ca doit être pour ça que ça m'a tant marqué

Ué ça craint. En même temps, cet été j'ai survolé "Tsubasa Chronicle" : Evangélion a de la concurrence cheap!
Et vas-y que je t'arrache un oeil, je le mange, je te casse les jambes, je te pète les ongles, le tout sur fond de dialogues emo et "hachés" (la spécialité des shoujo : "Atashi..." sur une page, "ha" deux pages plus loin, "ano toki ni..." sur la page suivante, etc. Résultat, trois phrases par chapitre!)...
Eprouvant!
Et très vite lassant...
Spour ça je préfère me vider le cerveau devant Bleach ou Ghost Hunt : C'est verbeux mais au moins ça reste assez simple à capter (Encore que j'ai toujours pas vraiment saisi si Gin va être un super méchant ou si il joue sur les deux tableaux : Il est zarb...

ah oué ? pourtant les tsubasa je les ai lus avant de venir au japon, et je me souviens pas de ca (c'est peut-etre plus loin, remarque).
Par contre j'ai acheté aucun shoujo au japon ^^ bien assez de shounens et de seinens pour me satisfaire. J'aime bie ta description du shoujo, c'est très vrai. Et en plus, au bout des trois page, la phrase reste incomplète ! c'est très important, c'est pour faire "genre" XD
Et pour Ichimaru, au point ou j'en suis du manga je sais toujours pas, mais je parie qu'il est pas "vraiment méchant". Souvent dans les shounen quand on "croit" qu'un personnage est méchant mais qu'on a aucune preuve directe, ça 'avère etre faux... quand je reviens en france, j'ai 6 bleach a acheter ^^ oh oh oh

Moi j'en suis au plus r�cent chapitre de Blitchi, et il me para�t de moins en moins compr�hensible, ce Gin chose. Au d�but c'�tait plut�t Tousen qui faisait le "m�chant malgr� lui" de service. Mais en fait, � bien y regarder, lui et Aizen ont �t� des gros m�chants jusqu'ici, alors qu'Ichimaru ne l'a pas trop ramen�e.
(Quel beau r�sum� de Bleach, hein? Quel style litt�raire...)
Quand � Tsubasa : Ca tourne au vinaigre vers les chapitres 120 quelque chose et il y a une quinzaine de chapitres crades, incompr�hensibles et sans grand int�r�t.

Nice perspective, overall colours are well done too! The anatomy of Asuka does look rather interesting, but I guess that's just your intended style. Kudos!
PS: I still don't understand the whole thing at the end with the scene on the beach : /

well it's true i exaggerate the proportions of Asuka. If she was a real person she would have some problems XD
And what don't you understand ? why they are here on the beach ? why is Shinji trying to strangle her ? or the whole twisted movie ? XD

oh my gosh! I'm the same as you! I got hooked on the series and am still contemplating how to do a fanart that would do it justice. But this picture is amazing! I just absolutly love it! Asuka's legs are a bit thin, but i've noticed that it's your style! Keep drawing these amazing pictures, it delights me to see my favorite series have a wonderful fan to do wonderful art!!!

no no, it is a rewriting, even if it seems to "reintegrate" the original story in the and. I don't think it can't be used to explain anything in Evangelion (and I don't remember all those, erm personal intercourses in Evangelion XD);
Oh and by the way, i'm not japanese, i'm french, and I couldn't understand half of the Retake I bought before reading the english translation ^^
