I’ve collected a series of pictures that I never really ended up finishing, and instead of leaving them to rot in the oblivion of my unfinished pictures folder, I thought I’d cram them all together in an impromptu lineup.

Left to right we have:

Eddie Munster. I sketched this little fellow some time ago while bored at uni. I liked the way he turned out, so I thought I’d flash him and include him here.

“Space Quest V” Spaceman Chris. When I was drawing my third devart ID, this was one of the unused ideas I had. I’m glad I finally had the excuse to show him off.

Comic book Magneto. I drew him just before X-Men III was released. I’ve never been a great fan of the comic book version of him, but I did feel like drawing him, so here he be. I couldn’t get the helmet to look right, so I left it off.

Ben Skywalker. Son of Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade. I really like this character in the most recent Star Wars novels… although I wish he’d get the Hell away from Jacen… it’s funny that the secondary characters from the Expanded Universe of Star Wars seem so much more fleshed out and interesting than the actual movie characters.

A Spaceman. He started this picture. I couldn’t think of a background for him so I created this picture… he isn’t any particular Spaceman, although he is wearing Spaceman Ben’s costume. Antigravity boots included.

Dick Grayson, Robin the Boy Wonder. The original sketch had him in the costume you see in the Batman Animated series, but I changed it back to the more traditional one.

Arthur Dent from the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Drawn around the time of the disappointing movie and somewhat based on Martin Freeman. Hurray for the fact no sequel seems to be in the works.

Movie Magneto, very loosely based on Sir Ian McKellan. Speaking of disappointing movies… I hate Brett Ratner with a passion. Not so much because he ruined the X-Men franchise, just because from interviews and stuff he seems like a jerk. And he thinks he’s better than Ridley Scott… what a dick. Umm anyway, I drew this at the same time as comic book Magneto, so I could compare the two.
