Hey there!I'm back with my second tutorial! Were going back a little though with this one on teaching the basics in photoshop.
I've put this tutorial together for everyone and anyone new to photoshop or still not sure where certain things are and what all those crazy windows are for.
If the interface of Photoshop looks different from yours it's because I'm using version CS2, and you may have an older version, but you can still find most of the tools and windows in the tutorial so don't panic too much
.I plan on contuing with the tutorial so stay tuned if you want to learn more.
This includes: cleaning lineart(line paper, color paper, line paper), layers, Filters, advanced coloring.
I hope this tutorial was helpful.
I spent at least 3 hours on it x_x which is pretty long for me. I didn't plan on spending this much time but got into it as I was making it

do you have a tutorial on the layers and lineart? cuz i have no idea how to make that work AH SO CUNFUSING! and i like the little doodles by the way very cute ^^

Anyway,how long does it usually take to make a tutorial?

I'd say maybe an hour and a half at least. I didn't have what I was going to say planned out(I'm sure you can tell though XD) and I had to do a lot of screenshots and cutting and pasting. I also had to color the picture for the tutorial. It depends on how much you want to include I think. They can be tiring(because they are so long, in time and length XD but I really enjoy making them and helping people. So they're worth however much time you end up spending on them ^__^!
but yeah..probably an hour 1/2 at the least?

thats a good tutorial, but im still a dumbass when it comes to photoshop... i see this people who colour in perfect pictures, but mine all look crap and fake..what do i do?

when coloring, take steps. First fill in your lineart with a base color, after, color where there might be shadows, add little details(like texture,spots,lines,etc), and add lighting to wherever the light source is.
What I did when I was first starting out is thought and did everything in layers. Base, Shadow, Light. Any other details r patterns I might have wanted I put in a different layer.
I hope that isn't all too confusing.
I plan on doing a tutorial eventually in the near future as people seem to really enjoy them and I like to help people ^_^

haha, I had a braincramp on the little doodles and stuff XD. I wanted small illustrations in some places though because when I read other people's tutorials, their illustrations always make me laugh or cheer me up in some way.
