It is like looking at a photo really, but even more beautiful than that. Expression not only from the faces portrayed, but the in the hand they are born with. Simply amazing...

So beautiful and slightly mysterious. I'm surprised I missed this first time round your gallery yesterday. Lovely composition and poses. I particularly love the inquisitive expression of the listener

Thanks so much! This piece got me through a fairly bad time in my life-- it helped me to keep the faith, and also got me hooked on drawing deviants!

great looking at your gallery, sam! I especially like this one; wonderful challenge to have the light source emitting from the image itself and gives this work a mystical feel. I also like the surreal ones. Rock on, cynda

I'll comment this one so that I won't forget later
The reason I like this one, because it seems like the older woman is like a guardian angel to the younger one. I can relate! But I won't bore you with stories I've come up with about your piece (as awesome as that would be
)
I really like the way you've done the shading and lighting on this - I only wish I could do that well. Yay for lineart!
This is a pretty inspirational piece if you ask me
Are those wings, or a shawl that the woman on the right is wearing? definitely
Man... Overboard of smiley faces.. I apologise. At least it is very, very positive feedback

I like a good bunch of smiley faces...
It's meant to look as if the angel has a coat or shawl covering her wings before showing them outright... Thanks for taking a look!

So I guess my interpretation on this one was correct, no?

Great picture. It's stunning.
At first I thought that "inspirare" meant something similar to "inspire" before I read that it had a different meaning.
Therefore in the beginning, I thought the light in the picture represented "ideas" or "inspiration" flowing into her mind from the woman with the cloak who looks like an angel

Thank you!
Your initial thoughts are correct-- "inspirare" does mean something similar to "inspire"-- everything about your comment is correct.

... Really!? I'm glad I was thinking that maybe it could mean something else

I think the Latin "to breathe upon or into" is used metaphorically as the word "inspire"-- so that being inspired is LIKE having someone breathe fresh life into your creative spirit...
