Learnt a lot of new tricks with this tutorial, never used most of these variations or post-transforms. Here's what I landed with [link]

Whoops, sorry. I didn't know this section existed otherwise I would have put my script info on your notes.

Thank you for getting back to me. I have made sure the linear = 0 on the final transform, if I leave it at 1 I get a rather pretty pattern. I'll keep trying - I'm sure I must be doing something wrong. If I find out what it is I'll let you know.

You're welcome. As I mentioned before, if you want to send me the parameters in a note, I can take a look and see if I can help you further.

Hi - I'm following your tutorial to the letter (as far as I know) but I'm having exactly the same problem as CheekaCat - I don't get a square - just a circle. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong please?

sragets In reply to crumblepenny [2011-02-15 17:41:32 +0000 UTC]
Very interesting. I'm not really sure what is going on in this regard.
I thought that maybe there was something wrong with newer versions so I ran through the tutorial again, attaining this result: [link]
Make sure that only ngon is on your final transform and that linear=0. Other than that, I'm not really sure what's happening.
You can note me your parameters if you wish, and I'll take a look at them.

By George she's got it! I finally managed to get my nGon image to look as it should - the problem, as you said, was with the final transform. Thanks so much for your patience. I don't know how to upload the image to Devianart (I will suss that too when I have time) but if you'd like to see my final image you can find it here [link]
Thanks again
Chris

As for other uses with Ngon...I haven't really messed with it in a while, so no, no new tips at the moment.
