Description
It's fanart of a character that hasn't been released yet! The flower queen belongs to ~Daggerfell , but I'm told those two crooks ~arctic-dreams and ~sirscalf contributed to the design. Anyways, it started out as a doodle, and morphed detail from there. It was difficult for me to get the colours to work, but I think it turned out alright!Flower! Some WIPs:

I don't really have a process. ><; However, I do start from very dark colours, and just stroke in the individual strands of hair with my Open Canvas airbrush. Then I take the pencil tool and stroke in smaller, sharper highlights. There's a lot of undoing and playing around. xD What I try to do is incorporate lots of different shades of red, orange, and a bit of blue (it's really a dark greyish blue, so its not easy to pick out), to give it as much depth as possible.
I don't know if that makes sense or not! xD

In this one, I did do most of the BG on one layer- I just forgot to layer the thing. Usually I have more layers. I started doing layers for the textures and some of the snow plants though. X3
