Description
It's fanart of a character that hasn't been released yet! The flower queen belongs to ~Daggerfell , but I'm told those two crooks ~arctic-dreams and ~sirscalf contributed to the design. Anyways, it started out as a doodle, and morphed detail from there. It was difficult for me to get the colours to work, but I think it turned out alright!Flower! Some WIPs:

I really don't know what I can say that I haven't said before regarding your art. I can see no flaws in it, the coloring is beautiful to a point few professionals attain. Amazing work as usual

You're far too generous! Here, I'll tell you a visual secret about this picture. Her hand and the wrist attached to it is set at an incorrect angle with the rest of the arm underneath the robe. :/ If there was one thing I could change about this picture, it would probably be that..! Though I might also have to learn to draw hands. xD

Man, Shirenai wasn't half-kidding when you were unjustifiably under-whelmed with attention... your stuff looks so... so.. so finished! You are a very talented watercolour and digital colourist.. everything looks so solid. And well-rendered. And so much detail.. I tend to be vague as I get bored doing so much detail on one particular piece but you've certainly outdone me on that here. So favourited... I can never get robes to look right.

Aw, thank you! xD With detailing, I tend to swap around to different spots on the piece frequently, to keep me from getting too tired of the picture. Your art has so many wonderful textures in it, I definitely have to take a closer look. :3

I think it would be fair to say around 12-15 hours total, partly because I changed backgrounds half way through, and partly because the second background.. was a butt.. xD

I really don't know where to begin, every time you post something I'm delighted and amazed! Okay. First off there's the background, the details on the branches and the way you had the lighting play off them is fantastic. Also the transparency on her face mask also turned out really effective.
One comment I'd like to make is that the designs on her sleeves don't seem to bend along with the curves of the folds. Rather they seem to exist separate of the fabric. Just a minor detail.

Thanks for the crit! I'm really bad at making patterns crinkle, often I just set such patterns on 'hard light' or something and hope the shadow of the fold underneath covers for it. Unfortunately, you're not the only one not fooled by that!
