My very first icon tutorial!
Here's the end result:
Sorry for any typos etc. It's pretty late here and I'm tired
PLEASE NOTE: This is just a pixelling tutorial. You'll have to look into animation tutorials via Google. This also applies to making backgrounds transparent as it varies with every software and some don't support either of these features.

LOL I only know because I was extremely guilty of them once upon a time too,
when I first started pixelling I was more so just drawing with the pencil tool zoomed in
I thought it was a shame that I had to learn half this stuff for myself because hardly any tutorials tell you something you've never heard before,
so thought I'd try help out the community
You should try give pixelling another try! It's really fun once you know what you're doing

I only discovered it had a name earlier this year.. when I was guilty of using it
Some girl on DA was having a huge rant about how the entire pixel community pillow shades
and I was like Wtf is that? O_o then I checked and was like.. oh yeah, I do that too
