EDIT:PLEASE READ THE COMMENTS AS WELL!!! There are a lot of good suggestions from other crusaders on how to crush the bug we call art thieves.
I was recently asked by a new member of #Doombringers how to report images.
Instead of going into the details, I thought I would make a tutorial on how to do it for people new to deviantART who are looking to make it a better place for everyone else.
This tutorial goes over just how to report for theft, but as you can see, there are many different things on deviantART that need reporting.
If you need any help with other categories to report, please do not hesitate to ask.
If you also need to find a link to another place a deviation is posted, use TinEye to find other places that it could be posted, that way deviantART will delete the offending images.

Thank you, this helped me report Hottie100 for stealing Loga90's artwork.
In fact, 1 of my favorite artists got her art traced recently.

A journal led me to an interesting site... it's a porn site, but for some reason, it's seems to be stealing art from... everyone. Put your username into the URL at the bottom and check; do NOT scroll past the first 4 rows of pictures because that's when it gets weird. I'm not really sure how to report an external site, but it needs to be taken care of - love it if someone would be nice enough to tell me how external site reporting goes down. π: 0 β©: 0

Is there a way to report someone's entire profile? They've stolen over 200 pieces and I didn't really want to have to go through the entire list individually. Lol XD

The best way is usually to get in touch with the original artists so they can file a complaint themselves. Reports from the victim are usually prioritised more highly anyway!

I joined dA again after a very long break, and within a week, I've

What if I need to report someone who stole all of my friends artwork? I need to report their page themselves because they're stealing my friend Anjie's artwork. I watch her make these arts and she found two people who stole more than one artwork of hers. How do I report the person themselves?

Don't worry, I've already done it for you. One report should be enough, considering I've given them the info they need. If she isn't gone by the end of the week, then we need a crapload of people to report her.

I wanna report someones DA account for using an image of mine as an Icon, as DA hasn't done anything about it. But I keep getting this error "Username contains invalid characters. Usernames can only contain A-Z, a-z, 0-9 and -, cannot start or end with - and cannot contain spaces. You may enter multiple user names separated by commas or spaces." would you know what to do about that?

Someone did also use my old work as an icon, i contacted her but she doesn't seem to be active anymore. Reporting to DA is essential but it is a miracle if DA will take it down, except if you got a lawyer behind you. I just wanted to say, if the admins don't do anything, think positive rather than swearing to that account, maybe he likes your work so much that he dares to take the risk of getting banned to use your work as an icon

jl101989.deviantart.com this guy is an art thief who even sells prints of some of his traced art.
I've contacted the artists that I could find but mostly he blocks users, hides comments, and actively avoids crediting even on the occasion that he admits that it'sΒ traced.
There's only one piece in his while gallery that is credited and even then it was pulling teeth.
So if anyone recognizes any art, I urge you to inform the artist so they can report him.
