It's a shame DA haven't added 'Love Deviation' the the drop down box as that surely applies here. I took a look through your work and your highly talented on Terragen. I tried my hand at it once, not so good, tried Vue and Bryce and didn't succeed there either so I left it alone to those that know what they're doing which definately includes you.
Anyways to the point. I would've commented on most of your work but I thought it would be harsh to you and so I thought I'd send you a note, then I took a second look at this one and thought, now there's his star piece. To me, this is my favourite of all your work, it's wonderful, truely wonderful. Everything is rendered/made-up right and really does catch the eye. You say "perhaps a favourite" and I say "damn right it's a favourite." A truely awesome piece.

The way the sunlight breaks through the clouds; fantastic!
The light hitting the land and especially the water isn't too harsh, which is a problem that many (including myself) have with renders with a heavy sunlight

This is great as well. Which reminds me, i took your light rays guide dealie. Kinda helped but not extremely. I cant get it really right, maybe it's cuz im new and still dont really know what im doing. The picture im rendering right now has some light rays, i think, i dunno still has like 2 hours to render. I dont wanna click it bcuz if i click it up and down too many times i wont be able to click it back up. And then terragen wont respond and i have to close it. See, that happened earlier on a piece that i was gonna submit as my second, it looks quite good. But uh, i think i've wrote enuff. Oh yea, great picture.

Comment: This reminds me of the images shipped with Enlightenment (In the Shiny Metal theme) they too were something to behold, this is a recapture of that very same awe!

Brilliant! I really love the lighting, the pitch black shadows makes it almost creepy. Wery well done! I think I might add this to my favs, but I'll go check out you other stuff first... I saw they were lacking comments
