SHORT STORY
Spring has brought a safer hunting advantage when hunting mountain goat to the Tokota's. They were able to move better without the mountain made of snow and ice, allowing them to chase and fight better up in those parts. The towering canine creatures travel together, in a strict hierarchy pattern based on whose leading the hunt. Leading the hunting party, Conqueror took the party towards their frequent flock, ready to choose useless males, injured, or the sick that would not provide future generations for the flock. They were still all good pickings, providing very desired meat and useful tools that would be made from their hooves and large horns. Their coats would be used to warm the villagers where the Tokota's came from and the short coated Tokota's that were bred within the communities. The rest of the pack followed the beastly barbary mane which included, in order, Arang then Balth, two towering and strong dires, then Thranduil the curly, Nessie the piebald, and Amarok the sphinx. They walked silently, heads low to keep a low profile. They knew where the flock was and followed the trails they left behind both scent and visible. The group stuck close until they saw their desired flock in the distance. At this point, they made themselves lower to the ground which included an almost crouching position with their legs, their tails low, and their ears pinned against their heads. They began to fan out, gathering plenty of space to keep the flock where they wanted it. Sourrounding the flock like they were made it to where the flock was in their hands and they had full control over what the flock did, where it went, and who they would separate to kill. During this season, though, the flock was in a defensive state rather than wanting to flee. The females with their young flocked near the center of the flock while the male rams defended their ladies and young from the outside sides. They were what the Tokota's wanted, though. Particularly smaller males and injured males from the previous ruts that went down here. The hunt began unexpectedly as Arang was spotted by the flock, immediately causing them to group tightly together and the males lowering their heads around all angles in an attempt to ward off the now circling predators. Showing off their large racks could potentially be intimidating but it did not ward off the beasts. The Tokota's were very large, able to tackle down a goat with no issue. However, when the goats warded together and created a wall of angry racks, it could pose a threat should they jump on a Tokota. Being not fully domesticated, the large canines had the instinct to not risk injury, no matter how small. In the wild it could truly mess up their lives. The Tokota's were now circling the flock closely, eyeing down the group looking for out of place goats that the beasts could easily snatch away from the flock, or perhaps a goat that gets a little too confident and ruts towards them, making it an easy grab. It wasn't long before a goat charged forward towards Arang, making a fatal mistake. From the side, Balth tackled down the charging goat and slammed it against the ground, holding it's head and body down with his large bear-like paws. Arang snarled, looking down at the struggling goat with a mocking expression. Conqueror, Thranduil, and Nessie circled the crowd still, biting and nipping to agitate the flock and hopefully cause a goat to strike or get scared enough to dart. Conqueror got a bit ansy, deciding to quickly grab hold of a goat's leg, jerking it and pulling it from the crowd. This caused a chain reaction of fear and anger within the flock, another male charging towards the beastly barbary but cut off by Nessie who tackled down the goat and mangling it badly. Thranduil had caught a fearful goat who attempted to flee and brought it down by body slamming it. Amarok worked his way towards a male who seemed confused and fearful which went down easily. Arang searched the panicked flock for her own catch, walking through causing the goats to scatter. She walked through like she was the boss of this joint, her head on level with her shoulders as she eyed potential prey, judging it. She wouldn't have a problem tackling down any of these males, she just had to work her large body to chase after them through their domain. She spotted an ideal candidate, growling lowly to herself and shifting her shoulders to get ready to chase it. The goat noticied quickly that the hungry beast was eyeing him, causing him to bleat nervously and begin running off. Arang darted after the fearful animal, her large paws gripping the ground for traction. She caught up with the goat, it's eyes wide with fear, before finally cutting sideways to body slam then tackle the animal. Easy hunt.

Thank you. And I mean I guess, I don't see why it'd be a problem though? You could always wait to add it to trackers/count it towards totals till' I add the stories? Started working on them today, ought to do 3-4 tomorrow.

To add on, I think it'd be more of a pain to alert everyone that I added the story than what I said above D:
I'm usually writing the stories within the first 1-2 days they're uploaded but with all the art I have, it's been a whee bit slow!
