Yay I'm finally starting to knock people off my to-do list!

SHORT STORY
On the main land in the Alaskan terrian, it has begun to rain. Pelting down hard, making various piddling sounds against the boulders, rocks, and hard ground of some of the terrian. The land was awaiting this rain for a long time, using the fuel to help make the land beautiful and lucious with healthy green grass and many species of wild flowers that were specific to the early spring and other wild flowers that would be there year round. The animals of this land were scattered all throughout. Many new arrivals were brought into the world by the gift of spring. They were learning the ways of life and sticking to their mothers life glues whether they be alone with their parent(s) or with a herd or group of sorts. They would all provide with future generations to come. A herd of deer, mostly made up of does and their young, happily scampered through the meadows, hopping at great speeds and feeling at peace, happily grazing. They were busy wrestling, chasing, and comforting each other until they felt a bit uneasy as they spotted a group of six Tokota's making their way across the land with their heads low and eyes very obviously seeking something specific, and whatever it was, it wasn't them. They felt at ease as the group didn't even bat an eye in their direction, and continued heading towards the mountain base. The herd continued about it's ways, grazing and having fun within the playground of a meadow. The hunting pack walked in a single file line lead by Nai the beautiful albino. Behind her was Thranduil the curly mane, followed by Amarok the sphinx, Strudel the stumpy legged Toki, Rai the piebald, and Astaroth the long mane. They were silent as they travelled, waiting until Nai had led them towards their desired destination- a little ways up the mountain to hunt some mountain goat. The silent pack made it's way in the basic area where they would begin to spot mountain goats. Some were alone but they were aiming for a flock, finding it easier to catch prey when they are in a panic and there are multiple targets to go after. The hunting party had spotted a flock, splitting up in an organized fashion. They all knew the plan without exchanging much of a glance towards each other. Each one had a place in the hunting pack. They fanned out accordingly, Nai and Amarok took point, nesting comfortably on the ground, but focused on their objective and their hunting companions. It wasn't long before everyone was in position and Nai jumped out, gathering the attention of all of the flock and scaring them in the correct direction, towards the waiting ambush in the mountain. Various claps of hooves stomped the ground as the creatures panicked. A few males made their way towards the outside of the flock to keep the flock in order best they could, ready to fight for the survival of the flock. Waiting a ways down the rocky path were Rai and Astaroth. They waited for some of the flock to pass in a frenzy before jumping out when they flock was half way past them, aiming for some goats that got close to their hiding spot. They targetted their own goats. Rai's goat was plenty close enough for him to jump out and snatch the goats face, rendering it disabled and unable to do much back. It flailed as he furthered his grip, suffocating the flailing animal. Astaroth had chased his pick, body slamming it off a ledge. The goat rebounded unscathed, catching it's fall in a lucky angle. It got up and ran but Astaroth was resilient and not too far behind, hopping down the ledge carefully before sprinting after the goat. He tackled it down, both of them rolling in an unorganized mess. They slammed into a mountain side, the goat taking the impact the hardest. Astaroth took the chance to grab hold of it's throat, successfully. Thranduil bounded after his target but his desired prey started putting up a fight. The male goat bellowed angrily, charging blindly with his head lowered and horns pointed for Thranduil's chest. The curly snarled, jumping out of the way and biting the goats hind leg, jerking at it aggressively and tripping the goat, rendering it unable to defend itself. Thranduil quickly jumped on the chance to grab it's throat and suffocate the beast. Strudel was relying on his stamnia, tiring the heavy goat who almost floated through the ledges, or at least that's what it seemed to feel like to Strudel. Of course, he kept up, eyeing the goat with interest, looking for any chance he may have to jump and tackle the goat. The goat made a simple mistake, losing it's footing, allowing Strudel to quickly jump on it, growling and grabbing at it aggressively.
