I approached this with the idea of: 'what would it look like if it were published in the Macross Chronicle format?' And it was both fun and challenging to see where that went. Most of the challenge came from (finally) putting some of the notes down on each CF - and then whittling them down to fit.The Staqeya was newly drawn for this - though the basic concept for it has been bouncing around my head for the better part of a couple of decades. Neverthless, I set out to create something in the style of the other CFs and do something visually different with it.
I don't like layering watermarks all over the art. But that's just the way the internet is...

Sadly, my master plan of whipping out 3 or 4 of these 'parody' pages has gone up in smoke. It's now turned into a marathon of art revision for 5 or 6 pages!
One problem is that I tend to create more new designs than I do finished designs... so Gen 2, page B is awaiting finished art, while I'm busy brainstorming designs that'll show up on the unforeseen 5th page! T.T;;;
Nevertheless, this page looks like its going to be the most internally consistent of the bunch. Part of that stems from the step-by-step, model-by-model progression of the designs. The later designs weren't dictated by in-universe technological progression (like the ones on this page), but by whatever my mood was when I drew them. LOL
