Description
Making your ownHyperZOOM Background Image
Software used: Poser 7, PhotoShop 7
This will be one of two different Hyperzoom Styles.
I call it the “ZOOM UP” style, since it predominately features the ground and does not show any sky.
Step 4: Next I apply the optional “speed lines” to the image. As a homage’ to the manga style.
I create a new blank layer above my other three layers. then I take a brush, size 19 with the hard edges, and adjust the spacing out as far as it will go for the brush. I then paint little polka dots over my image on that new layer. When I think I have enough large dots, I change my brush size to 9 and add some smaller dots.
when I'm done, I again apply the Radial blur filter to the new layer, (Filter/blur/radial blur) but this time at a setting of 40 - 50 to make long dragging lines from the center of the action. Finally I set the top most layer to “OVERLAY” and save out a png to use as my final imported background image in poser.
How to use the HyperZOOM image in POser!
save the light setting from the creation of your hyperzoom image. create a new blank image with the same window size/aspect ratio as your hyperzoom image. import your new hyperzoom image. (File/import/background image) apply the light setting. Import your favorite character. rotate the character not the camera to your desired point and render. (make sure your camera focal length is the same as the hyperzoom image was)
Using the background image will free up your resources and allow for faster render times!

I've always wondered how you made the speed lines. Excellent! (Mr. Burns' style)

Cool! Never thought that it was so easy. But actually never tried to reproduce them
After I have reformatted and reinstalled everything , I'll try this out.
