In my signature I have a FAQ with a short step-by-step guide to carry you though applying the cursors. Just make sure you know where on your computer the cursor is saved so that you know where to find it.

I feel like an idiot saying this, but when you click the dowload button, is a notification tab supposed to pop up, saying " Do you want to save, open, or open with " ? I just downloaded the Pinkie Pie one yesterday, and I've already forgot, :I . Please help,

You will want to save the file, then once it is saved, go into it and extract the files. Extracting the files will decompress them and make them ready to use.
Here is a quick tutorial on extracting from ZIP files in case you are unfamiliar with how to.

Ok. I checked the FAQ and I downloaded a second file and added them both to cursors, but the file only showed up once and didn't work. What do I do?

How do you mean that the file didn't work? Are you getting any specific alert?
They are ZIP folders, did you extract the files from them first? A lot of times things compressed in a ZIP can't be used until the files are extracted.

when i go to change my cursor the ditzy set isnt there and ive already moved it into the cursor file

Odd. Perhaps it would benefit you to download a second copy of the set and put them into the cursors folder as normal- your computer may not have remembered that you put the cursors there.

i opened up my control panel but i can't find devices and sound or the pointers tab

What operating system are you on. Perhaps that might aid me to helping you if you are using something I am not.

Okay, I used to use Windows XP.
If I remember right, there should be a "mouse" link under the "Printers and Other Hardware" option (top-right of the XP control panel). From there on the setup should be the same.

thats the problem though, I don't know where the XP control panel is the control panel that I'm using is NVIDIA. I don't know how to get to the XP control panel

Ah! I see. Well, your control panel ought to be affixed to your Start menu.
I found an image that should help you illustrate its location. (Here's the image. ) If it is not there then search "control panel" using the Search button in your start menu (also shown in the image above).

yeah, i found what i was doing wrong after looking about my computer for a while turns out i was looking in the wrong control panel. i was meant to tell you this but i didn't know of any means of contacting you, so thanks for all the help it is really appreciated.
