i had to look twice on this one to make sure my first impression was right. i like how you've switched positions for the hands. it opens up so much more room for interpretation.

this sounds like such a stupid comment, especially considering i have no idea what i'm talking about really.... but i love the light! yay light! especially how it's like ocnsuming hesi's hand in the background there.
and i like the little peak of you pointer finger between her thumb and pointer finger...it's like a little turtle head poking out to see the world! kind of hiding a bit, but curious none the less.

....the point is, i like this picture, whether any of what i just said made sense or not

Did you manipulate these two together .. cause I see in the background your hezi's hand being held back by yours and in the foreground your hand being restricted by hezi's .. now I'm either seeing things that aren't there or you two are supreme contortionists.

Its mind bogling this one

.

Great lighting as per usual hon.

it was a very challenging pose but it was done in one shot.

lol .. I stared for ages at it and I think I know how you posed .. mighty awkward but I think I figured it. Would have been good to see a behind the scenes of this one

Wow... the overexposure at the background reminds me of this "omg, there is light at the end of the tunnel..."-experiences (not that I ever had one)
Light used?

the light is just a single softbox from behind. one of my favorite tricks

Beautiful composition! It has such warm colours, and the glow on the edges adds depth to it. I love how her fingers somewhat fade at the ends through the strongness of the light. I'm just wondering how many shots you took to get a great capture like this.

I'm really diggin this new style with the hands
I definitely think that there are more ways to communicate emotion than by facial expression
great job

Wow another great result from the dynamic duo. I have to agree with Manyk, in that it makes me quite uneasy. It's the defensive gripping and the restriction, the feeling of being held back or holding someone back..

"Why do we do this to eachother", perhaps to protect ourselves.

Very strong piece, congratulations to you both.

Sharp contrast to the first ... wow ... It's weird, I almost feel sick to my stomach when looking at this. The message that immediately pops into my head is not one of freedom of expression or graceful flowing motion.

I don't really need to tell you ow great the lighting is, in this shot i really like how the light diffuses through her fingernails.

what is that on your arm near the edge of the frame?

I am sitting here trying to figure out exactly how you must have been standing to get the hands like that..... must have been interesting. I love it... fabulous end product, as yours always are. Beautiful lighting as well.

Now that i look at the result, I understand why you do the things the hard way. now that I look at the result i'm so much more proud of us.

and we do it 'cuase we think it's for the best. always. don't we? too bad sometimes it doesn't turn out the way we want it to. and sometimes by the time we get the results we change our minds. okay now i've confused even myself
