Description
Just a spring-type photo featuring my famous bamboo plant.TECH
Nothing fancy about this one. The bamboo is in the window, so I shot it with my Sigma 105mm macro lens, which rules BTW. You just need to not use the autofocus on it because it's noisy and slow.

excellent use of atmosphere and lovely focus and detail on the leaves surface

This is great. I actually thought the blue background was a colored piece of paper until I read the description. So there's actually a window there somewhere? Great job at hiding it - did you use any kind of filter?

nope no filter. just shot in RAW and boosted contrast, temperature and saturation in capture one.

Hydrogen nitrogen and 16% Oxygen + 1% other materials background makes a beutiful constrast with the carbon based non intelligent lifeform that you have on the left.
Scientifically speaking Kevin, really beautiful and simple. As it shoudl be.
