I had earlier done a series of photos for Scrambled Leggs , a female sketch comedy group from Toronto. Their agent seemed to think that photos showing a bit more skin would attract more attention in the press. So, we did a second shoot. This is the first from the second shoot. I hope you like it!I used two softboxes to simulate theatre lighting. One is high and directly in front of them. The other is behind them to the left, providing backlight, and pretending to be a movie projector.

i don't know about more skin getting them more exposure. they're fairly covered here anyway. but i hope your pictures helped them. i like the idea here. it works so well as a promotional picture for a comedy group. the lighting is good especially the one behind them. really makes it seem more realistic. the expressions seem a little contrived though, especially the one on the far right. still, they look like a neat group of ladies.

lighting is superb, and you really have that feeling that they are watching something...
I'm not completely convinced if the fact that the one on the left, not looking to where the others are looking, is flattering to the idea, but that is such serious nick-picking I'll shut up....
Love the detail of the blue sock, and the seats make for a superb photograph!

I'm not a photographer but I've really enjoyed this series. While I don't really see the agent's 'more skin' request it's a cute shot and I think in line with a tounge n cheek style group of ladies.

The highlights seem a BIT hot on the foot and shin of the girl on our left.
Nit-picking aside, I like the composition and playfulness of the shot. The lighting is very nice and it looks as if those softboxes are going to be a VERY useful set of 'tools' for you. The light is totally different from your 'flash' shots.
Wicked stuff bud, keep it up!

great shot. wonderful lighting, it looks like a theatre, but it also has a fakeness to it, it lets you know that it is really a stage. wonderful expressions, they're all different, and they all seem to be looking at different places on screen, and none directly at you. love the use of kfc buckets as pocorn buckets.

id colorbalance it to the point where the shadows are blue... and then paint out the lady at lefts brastrap so the nakie-ness is consistent....

i am so in love with all the original concepts in presenting these gals!! i love the nudity implied and think i'd like that white strap taken off the girl on the viewer's left and get to see a bit more of the girl on the viewer's right.
its absolutely like a theater in the visual sense, the seats and lighting and they are just fabulously expressive!!!

lol .. this is soo cool, love the way they are sat they way all the kids and students sit with their feet on the backs of the seats in front!! Great expressions (nice to see a different expression on the one second from the left, it was comical to see the same type of expression from her in the first series!! 
I think the eternal question will be 'why are they nearly naked?' from everyone looking at this. Regardless of the fact that the description says it'd be fun to show more skin.
I hereby dub this one 'Dears in headlights' and yes I meant that pun there in the spelling!
