Thanks muchly, Ellen. Your comments always make me smile, it feels good to hear from fellow whippet lovers. Hope that all is well with you all over there!
(I have to brag: my dad has confirmed that when I move back home from college we are going to seriously start looking for a whippet, possibly two. I am so excited!)

aaaaaw ! That's great news. I can believe you are excited. You won't regret. I can't imagine a life without my whippetgirls any more. It's a fantastic breed. Do you already know if you would like a whippetboy or girl ? And would you like to have one out of a whippet racing pedigree or a show pedigree ? I'm sorry, but I'm so curious right now !! I'm already looking forward to hear from you. Many greetings

We're probably going to get another girl, I think, because the reason we got a female in the first place (when we first got our Italian Greyhound) was because my parents had heard that male dogs are more prone to mark and they didn't want to deal with that. We're also more than likely getting show lines, because racing and coursing is not a big sport where I come from (though I would LOVE to change that! xD). I'd personally really like to try out agility with a dog and possibly showing as well. But, who knows! Right now we've still only just started thinking about it, but my parents have evidently been discussing and considering it seriously so I have high hopes. I won't be home from college for another year or two. Our old dog is twelve now and it'd be good for her to have some company.

Ohhh, that's so cute. <3 I love the look on the younger Shelley, and it's interesitng how colourful she looks compared to the older you, the slightly more desaturated clothes give you a more mature look. I like the dinosaur too, you pulled off the "child-drawing" look quite well. 8D I love Swift's expression, she's like "... What? Two Shelleys? o_o;"
Blue pencil is fun for sketching, never considered using it to sketch then lineart with pen. 8D Gotta try that out sometime!

I actually have/had clothes like that, I just cut out the logos and prints that were on them. That's interesting you noted the colourfulness, I wasn't thinking about it but it works I feel (even though I'm still partial to wearing bright pink). and xDD! That's a perfect description of the Swift expression! I wasn't thinking about it when I was drawing her but I'm glad I let my instincts deal with it after all.
Oh yeah, if you can get a good inky pen it's worthwhile. I love using ballpoints for sketchy drawing, but inking by hand to me is a lot of fun. I have Microns and Pitt pens, specially for artist inking, and they work very well. [link] are what I used here. thank yooou!

Hmn, cool. XD Yesyes, in SC lit's super important, so analasys is driven into your brain. XD Instincts can produce cool results.
I use Microns. XD

It's amazing how these memes can inspire to other ideas - This is such an adorable picture! And for some reason I get the feeling it means a lot to you; drawing past-present selves is sure to spring up memories. I really like how you incorporated two different mediums together (traditional and digital). It gives a very neat effect. I actually like pictures with that "sketchy" look. :-P
I don't know if I've told you this before, but I have to say, I have always loved the way you draw humans. It's such a unique style you've developed, the characters look so fluid even if they're just sitting down.
(Btw I'm working on my own time warp meme. :-D)
So yes. LOVE to Swift and you! x3 !

I knooowww. I'd no sooner done with my first timewarp meme than I had the idea that I could have done it like this, and I liked it too much to let it go. I enjoy 'sketchy' myself, so it's always great to hear that others do too. :B I always try to leave my sketchlines alone as much as possible and when it comes to my scraps I try to edit as little as possible!
Thank you lovey! I've been working on teh humanz for a while now so it's good to see people notice them too! xD
( I want to see yours!!)
