*resists urge to burst into song*Prize pic for the excellent ~emorei , for winning the ~sighthound-fans V-Day contest
It's her fursona-beast, a wonderful mixture of creatures that was a delightful headache to draw :3 I mean that in the most affectionate way possible! When I read the part about his/her/its ability to change colour like an octopus combined with 'similar to large arctic breeds of dog', I got the image of her running through a snowfall. So... I drew it. hee. I love the blue-green natural colours of the coat, but wanted to play around with different colour schemes too. I hope you like this, Emorei, and thanks much for participating!

Ooh, very pretty! If it was difficult to do it doesn't show... the clean form and lines and soft colors really make it look like you did this effortlessly. I really love the blurriness you gave to the snow, because it absolutely conveys the sense of dashing over the land at high speeds.

Man, this is just lovely. The motion and the softness of the coloring make it so appealing. I love the anat, you've managed to keep it looking realistic/plausible, and the detail in the thick fur-fluff make it look like it could definitely survive in sub-zero temperatures.
