Second batch of dogbreed icons up, whee yay. this time it's the ever-beloved Herding Group. ^^I put in breednames this time because people kept guessing and asking if they were right on the last one. These aren't random breed sheets and all the breeds are very easy to find by going to the AKC website and clicking on the group du jour (or for that matter by clicking the link that takes you to the icons xD). and I know I said only AKC-registered breeds, but I couldn't not put in the Laekenois. The Belgian Shepherds are like.. an inseparable quartet. or something. o.o;

My favorite is the Puli. They look like funny mops when they run lol! I love all the dogs in this group except for collies. They are ok. They are pretty mean and like to snap. At least all the ones I have met. They are NOT like Lassie!

I know, I don't think there are any bad breeds. But I still think collies tend to snap more than other breeds. They were bred to herd livestock and they snap at livestock to get them going. They snap at people too if they get angry. It is just in their nature. I'm not fond of them...nor pitbulls. :/ I would never trust a pit bull alone with another dog or little kid. They are bred to be dog aggressive. No matter how much training they get they can still attack with out warning. Same with Afghan hounds and rabbits. I would never trust one alone with my rabbit. You never know what is going to happen with animals!

I'm totally using that Pem icon. I wish I could show Callie, but she's got this little white freckle in the middle of her nose... *laughs* I'm pretty sure she wouldn't do well. And besides, showing's a lot of work. 
I think the Herding group's my favorite out of them all. Next would be the the Non-Sporting group. You did so well with these!

I'm so glad you like them! I really have been a lazy butt with the icons though, I still have the Working Group to do next. I deliberately left the Hounds last so I'd have the motivation to finish xD though the Non-Sporting will be fun because there's such a mixed bag. (even if I am still not entirely sure why that group exists at all. eh.)

German Shepherd, woot! One of my personal favorites. If you ever get around to doing mixed breeds, I can send you pictures of the prettiest shepherd/chow mix you'll ever see, hehe. You had a fantastic idea!!

oh yeah, the icelandic sheepdog is a herding dog too, just wanna share it with you if you didn't know

but it is not in the AKC registered breeds. therefore I did not draw it. there are very many dogs that are herding breeds but unregistered and therefore not drawn here.
I will eventually be taking dogbreedicon requests though. you can ask for it then if you really want it.

So sue me. I am only drawing registered AKC breeds, but once I am done with them I WILL DO REQUESTS. honestly. I apologise, but I am sick of people complaining about how I didn't draw their favourite breed.

You're not causing me trouble, no fear. I just find it a bit wearying that people will keep bringing up what dog breeds I DIDN'T draw when I've drawn so many as it is. and the herding group isn't even 'my' group.
