Thought it was about time to update Swift's ref sheet. Her essential design hasn't changed a bit, but I cringe looking at the outdated style and artwork of my previous ref so.. tadah! I didn't put a lot of notes on the design and markings themselves, because they are pretty simple, but I added some little footnotes of feral whippet faces and poses for the people not used to sighthounds, as well as the sighthound ears bit that a lot of people told me was helpful. The idea for the sketchy little poses and expressions was inspired by *silverbobcat 's ref sheet of her character, Kali.

I can't begin to describe what I feel for this character and design. She was created completely at random when I was just sixteen - random colours and markings, and even though I knew I wanted a sighthound self I'm not really sure how I arrived at whippets. But over the years I've come to realise more and more that she fits me like a glove, even though her design hasn't really changed at all. There hasn't ever been a time that she hasn't 'felt right'; I didn't have to make an effort to soul search or to make her 'like me', she simply is me, always has been and I think always will be. And although I will always squee and be heartwarmed over sighthounds in general, whippets have become, officially, the breed most dear to my heart and very like me in many ways. So.. yeah. Swift is very special to me. :3

EDIT: Swift's claws are now officially white. this is like... the biggest change to this character ever made. xDDD
